The Draw of the Scissors

Why can't my children be normal like other kids? When my daughter picked up the pair of scissors, why didn't she just cut her bangs too short or snip a hole in her dress?

I don't know.

All I know is, she now has only one eyebrow.

And I can't stop laughing about it.

  1. Hi,
I am new to your blog. I had to laugh when I saw the picture. She doesn't look too happy. Poor thing. Of all things to cut off :)

  2. It takes a lot more precision to snip and eyebrown. LOL. Luckily her hair is light and you can hardly notice, I didn't notice anythign wrong until I read the post.

  3. I laughed out loud about this all the day long. When I told dad, he laughed out loud. That evening one or the other of us would start chuckling and we both knew why the other was laughing... then we'd start too.

I told my class about it and they shook their heads as they giggled. About 1/2 way thru class, one of the women put her head in her hands and tried to contain herself. I asked and she said "You never should have told us about one eyebrow girl at the START of class..." then everyone began the laughter again.

Oh how I love that child!

  4. I think she looks like the little actress in the Matilda movie. Cute.
