I asked my Dad to come over and take a look and see if he could help me fix it. When he arrived he started talking about digging out the existing foundation and putting in a cinder block wall and sudddenly I envisioned gaping holes is my house and I couldn't breathe, and I was dizzy, I thought for sure I was going to pass out, but not before I had a heart attack because by heart was beating so hard and fast!!! After what felt like several hours the ringing in my ears subsided and we were able to think of a less invasive solution. But I know now and sympathize with anyone else who experiences this ... no fun!tamichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00656200621031493422noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7047618339605556391.post-52914460155399516382012-09-27T03:52:20.405-07:002012-09-27T03:52:20.405-07:00Every time I go to the dentist. No, I'm talking full on panic attack, including hyperventilation. It's horrible. And I'm sorry.Brandihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12179949318807848041noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7047618339605556391.post-24541979212013796292012-09-26T18:06:22.924-07:002012-09-26T18:06:22.924-07:00I don't think I've ever had a true panic a...I don't think I've ever had a true panic attack. I guess I would know if I had-- what a scary thing for you. I'm sorry. They noticed something was wrong & stopped. Luckily, it wasn't a forever thing.Jennahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10053294732592347387noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7047618339605556391.post-2027028770531449842012-09-26T12:17:09.040-07:002012-09-26T12:17:09.040-07:00I have panic attacks from time to time and they ar...I have panic attacks from time to time and they are NO fun. You'll do better the next time around, now that you know what they are and what's causing them. Be warned though, they sometimes occur for no reason whatsoever -at least for me they do. Just accept that it's your body being weird and there doesn't have to be a reason behind it. Prayer helps, as does deep breathing and relaxation techniques. And most of all, when you have a panic attack, know that it WILL pass. Sometimes when I have one I start to fear that it will never end, and that just gets me more anxious. You'll be fine. It's just a sucky thing that happens sometimes, but you'll be fine.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02557585811735711752noreply@blogger.com
